Government Museum, Kanchipuram

The Kanchipuram Government Museum is located in Kanchipuram in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. The museum fulfills multiple purposes and aims to protect the artistic, scientific, cultural as well as natural objects of the region. Seminars, Lectures and Trainings are organized by the museum to raise awareness as are the exhibitions, competitions, guided tours, etc. The museum is open all round the year and was first opened to the public in the year 1999.
