Himachal Pradesh offers a series of trekking expeditions to tourists. Though it is said to be perfect even for trekkers who are 10 years old, it is suggested that the trekkers should have previous experience too.

1. Villages on Mountains:

While you are on the Hampta Pass Trek route, you will come across several villages that are built on the mountains such as the Hampta village and the Sethan village. Surrounded by mountain ranges, these villages also offer some amazing views to witness.

2. The Crossing:

The crossing of the pass is altogether a great experience that you will remember for a lifetime. 5. Natural Beauty:

The Hampta Pass is also known for its biodiversity.  The flora and fauna here are worth exploring and admiring. You can come across some most beautiful trees such as Deodar, Pinewood, Oak, Silver Birch, and Maple. Amidst the dense trees, you will also come across several wild animals and birds such as white-capped redstart, shepherd dogs, and a wide range of Himalayan birds. 

6. Mountain View:

When you are on the pass, you will witness some of the most mesmerizing mountain views such as that of Pir Panjal Range and Dhauladhar Range. You can also view the beauty of the glaciers of Mount Indrasen and Deo Tibba.

7. Chandratal Lake:

Chandratal Lake is named so because it has the rough shape of a crescent moon. This beautiful lake surrounded by mountains has a mythological connection. As per the mythological stories, the eldest Pandav brother Yudhisthir left for Swarglog riding the chariot of Indradev from this location. Another surprising phenomenon that makes this lake an attraction is that the water of the lake has different colors at different times of the day. 

The Hampta Pass in Himachal Pradesh is not just an adventure trip to go for but also a route to witness some of the most exciting panoramic views.
